Hello, Zoa group. New to reefing, got a beautiful Zoa rock 1 week ago and noticed tonight it’s full of aptasia. Are there any considerations when treating these on a Zoa rock? I had clear Aptasia on my Live rock, the ones on my Zoa rock are brown/tan, assuming theses are a new pest that came with the Zoa rock.. There are at least 8-10 of these Glass nems peaking out between the Zoas. Is this the same treatment, or does it being inside Zoas make a difference approach necessary.

Thanks

I can only tell you what I did and that was nudge the zoas to close them up and then applied my chosen product which for me is Joes Juice. Never had them come back between the zoas and no harm done to the zoas.

Thanks, I will give that a try. I have the Red Sea Brand stuff, but should work the same. Zoas are awesome, really don’t want to hurt them, so just making sure .
