HI,
We had a SPS naturally start growing on a piece of live rock we bought.
The Orange (i think eagle eyes) are growing over it completely, they are also taking over the nice green Zoa's as well.
Being a complete newbie to all of this reefing, I am wondering of someone can please suggest the best way to remove the orange ones , and is there any way we can stop this from happening again.
Removing the rock will be extremely difficult as it is a structural rock, so is it possible to do it while still in place or am I going to have to remove the rock ?
Thanks in advance.

You can rip the off. Carefull with water pollution or getting it on any cuts.
You can scrape them off.
You can with bone cutters cut the rock they're on and move them or sell them as frags.
Easiest thing to do would be to cut the sps and move it.

Thank you everyone. We have decided to remove the rock Urghhh and get zoa's off. Apparently they sell quite easily. So will advertise & hopefully get just a few $ back.lol.

careful in removal, wear PPE ( protective equipment ), you can either chip them off the rock under their zoa matt or just chip the rock where they reside.
