Zoa skirt gone and whitish.

Some of my pink auroras skirts are gone and looks white. Its not the whole skirt but about half of 3 different zoa skirts. What could possibly be causing it? I have 4 other zoa frags by these. They all look good.

Usually it is nothing as Zoanthids and Paly’s tend to change color, size or remained partially or fully closed periodically. You could check for Zoanthid eating nudibranches or other organisms possibly irritating them. If your other Zoanthids and Paly’s are doing well, I wouldn’t be to concerned.
For piece of mind do a water change and see how that works. If they don’t improve, try moving them to another part of your tank that is different with regards to water flow and light intensity. I would say check your water parameters, however, if your other ones are fine, it doesn’t make sense to go that route.

Got all 6 frags from reefapolooza in cali. Same vendor. They just started doing this last week. Started with 1 now 3 are like that. There are 5 heads on the frag. I just did a water change a week ago.
