So the other day right before my lights came on, I noticed a little critter at the base of my Zoanthids. I immediately took a picture and came here for an ID. After reading a few posts and googling some things.. I’m positive it’s a Zoanthid Spider. I kept peeking at the tank and the only closed Zoa all day. I tried a dip and an RO dip and it still didn’t come off or out.
Well last night when the lights were ramping down and almost off… I SAW IT!
Immediately grabbed it out and threw it in a cup with tank water and used tweezers and pulled it off!
Now I’ve only seen one. I only have a few Zoa frags atm. Others seem happy and no closed zoas or anything.. so I’m hoping it was the only one..
My question is… MALE OR FEMALE?

Haha why would you care? Doesn’t matter. If the frags are new there might be some eggs hiding but you could be lucky and only this one was there

I’m just hoping it didn’t lay or leave eggs. Lol I read that the females carry the eggs on their legs.. and that they only reproduce sexually.. so happy I only saw one so far.
