These are one of my favorites of all time. But I had a nightmare of a time getting them to grow well .

campfires have a green slit for the mouth.

My nightmares just recently started growing well. They were stuck on the same polyp count for a couple of months.


BTW, great picture Revhtree! what camera/lens are you using? My nightmares are pretty small, smaller then usual sized zoas but bigger then micro zoas. Are yours the same?

I used to grow these like WEEDS with vanilla instant ocean salt and an odyssey 250 watt 14k bulb. Now they hardly grow, tough polyp to do!

I went to go order some of these from @Queen City Corals but ended up getting Valentine’s Day massacre instead . They have some nightmares in stock @zoajunkie83

Oh boy. Now I want some. My zoas are struggling a little bit right now so I guess I'll wait until I figure out what is causing them issues. My tank is only 4 months old so I'm sure it is probably related to that.
