I am a little on the board side =) Anyone want to talk about what are the hot zoas right/most sought after. How to get better growth for zoas ect....I also put a zoa in my tank in a med-high flow, and it is growing like crazy do zoas like a lot of flow?

I find I get the best growth when I leave them alone - quit moving them, quit fragging them, quit trying to spot feed, etc.. IME some zoas like high current and others not so much. Same with lighting.

Fraggin' may stimulate growth I agree, but I don't see the long term growth keeping up the pace.

Retro mostly. Some grow fast, some don't. I am trying to figure out which do better near the bed versus the surface.

Zoas (mine) anyway are funny like that. I have to consistently move them to find their "sweet spot." Some do better in the sand, even slightly shaded, some seem to be better on my frag rack close to the light. My poor fish get used to one set up and then I go change it. I've recently gone from the common zoas to some of the more expensive rarer ones. It has raised my interest and made my tank so much more interesting.

Whats your guys favorite zoa/paly?Mine are cats eyes,and sopranos.And a lot more.lol.
