I was bidding on an auction he had on ebay. The night before it was to end, he cancelled the auction with me being the winning bidder up to this point. After he cancelled it, I wrote him asking what happened. these are his responces,

[FONT=Arial, Verdana]No regulations nor policy towards names on ebay unless it's sexual. My other competition wants to buy it from me and i dont want to sell because it will spread and lose the value.

I cannot do it for $54.99...the last was purchased for $86. I can only give it to you for $70 if you'd like.

If not, i will just keep it. I sell this for $85 in my website.

Somebody mentioned that he made an attempt at honesty, that someone was bugging him and he did offer it to me. If that was true I would of got a notice saying someone over bid my offer. Which I did not. So I was winning it at 54.99. Read above where he said he couldn't let it go for 54.99. That is why the auction was cancelled. If he didn't want to sell it for anything under the 70. he should of put a reserve price on it. Problem solved.

I wasn't going to say anything else but I felt I am being attacked too.
Also I respect the fact when the moderator said enough on the subject in the thread to bring any further discussion to the venders feedback forum so here it is. But I stand by the fact I think he is SHADY.

i'm not going to go into details....but he has done this before on several occasions that i am aware of. as well as some other odd things when it comes to eliminating his competition....

again, no details.....and i'm not beating a dead horse. all i'm saying, is this event is not new, and has happened before with this seller.

i'm sure plenty of people have had good dealings with him, but i just think people should be aware of things like this. thanks teeka for your information of what transpired.

you are probably correct in the fact that yes, he is successful, and i'm sure there are people out there who dislike him for that (i.e. the competition).......i have no doubt about that....

remember RC bash ? i think high end sellers stop respond to bash after the see that you cant please everyone. . buyer should always undestand that a store charging as much as they can , and it is a straight capitalism . and by that means the person with deeper pocket will get a frag before you and it is people nature to blame

i think in teeka's occurance, though it had more to do with ebay rules/regulations. i'm not completely sure on their rules, but to end an auction b/c you forgot to set a reserve......or to end an auction to make sure a certain bidder can't buy....doesn't seem right to me.

i mean, if he doesn't want his competition to bid on his frags, i'm pretty sure there is an ebay feature to block certain bidders.......correct?

i dont think it is cool ether, i never sold on ebay so i dont know the rules. and features. and it is definitely rough job selling stuff, he got to start paying attention if he dont want threads like this happening

yup, i totally agree....

while i dont know for sure, i know that zoafrags lives in that sanfran area, where the coral business is booming and allot of people use it as a primary source of income. and there are allot of big time cherry picker collectors that have connections with the whole salers. so they come through and get their pick of the litter before the whole salers ship stuff to the east coast.

i also remember something about when rommel stopped his business of "ultimate frags". there was something going around about how zoafrags bought him out, that may have included some of his connections, not completely sure. there was allot of hearsay....

i think most of his stuff is wild caught, and cut up.....based on how the frags look that people get from him. but i'm sure he has a little of aquacultured on frag plugs/rocks also, like purple death and others that aren't found in wild shipments.

zoafrags buying ultimate was a little deal for that guys sort of vacation for Rommel. notice that he was back like 4 month or so. watch that both share a lots of brand new stuff like this crazy palys lately.

Yes it is against the rules, plus he broke another rule by going outside of ebey to try to sell it. ie the messages he sent me. I am a soon to be private collector. I wanted this paly to having something to trade with for some of the other beautiful palys I have been seeing on this site. Kigs when yours grows out I still hope I can get one.
