What kind of light are your AOIs getting? Mine are at the very top of my bio cube with stock lighting and they are still a bit stretched out and pale, even after a couple weeks!

Short answer... they're getting ALL of the lighting. This is in my display tank that is lut by a combo of metal halide, T5, and LED. The tank is SPS dominant and the lighting is pretty intense.
