Very Nice Zoa’s. Gonna be a sweet garden for sure. Good luck! Specks grow like weeds. Give them plenty of room and make fragging those easy... where u can just snip one or two off to trade or sell. Lucrative polyp... haha. I’ll be anxious to see ur lil garden in a few months.

I was wanting to ask I got 2 kessil a160we on a 46gal bow front and zoas
On the bottom trying to do a do a garden and they are not growing as fast as I would like them to but is the 2 kessils good enough for zoanthids?

They Never grow as fast as you would prefer. Should be more then enough light. Zoa’s usually get used to most lighting variations and once their comfortable growth should pic up. They like a bit of phos and nitrate. I run high on both and they for the most part grow like weeds. N I literally have over 200 different. High and low light, both descent growth. I will say I have more rapid growth under higher lighting. Better color under lower. My personal Favs in Lower light scenario would have to be Rhinos... blue and rainbow both do extremely well and look just amazing in the lower, more blue lighting. I run ap700’s and Reefbrights together on one of my tanks and the Zoa’s and Palys Extremely happy and reward with very nice growth rate. I also have tanks w AI Hydra 26hd’s and a Frag tank w the 160 Blue Kessil and to be honest I have not even close to the luck that I have on my ap- rb tank. That in my opinion is the Ultimate lighting combo for all my Corals. Insane... maybe checkout some of Reefbrights smaller strips that you could add on to ur tank. I’m telling you the RB are absolutely key to my success w them. I also talked w both Jason Fox and Todd cherry at a couple shows and they too both run the Reefbright blues and we all agreed they R bye far the best. Check them out bro. They have super nice clear acrylic light stands for nice looking application. Little pricey I think... not sure, mine were but are 72”ers. I wouldn’t trade them for nuttin. Absolutely Love them.
