Zoanthid is swollen

Why is my zoa polyp bulging? Is it multiplying or some kind of disease ?

Looks fine to me. The disk is open and happy. It looks like a new bud forming but just keep an eye on it. I’d be more worried about shrinking in size than anything. How long have you had it?

I’ve had it for 16 days. I’ve been waiting to see more of it so hopefully it’s a new bud

And 16 days is what I notice my corals take to really start showing any growth after purchase (usually like 2 weeks) but they take a few days to look happy, for the most part. Looks like you’re on the right track. Just looking for an update. If it is a new bud, that kinda nipple looking part should be getting a bit more pointy and/or getting a mouth.

The “nipple” part for the most part looks the same. It stays open through out the day and seems happy and all of my other corals are doing well so I really hope it’s a bud but I will update once I see something

A few months later and I see a mouth forming. Those bumps in the picture eventually went down.
