Hey guys I picked up this clam at my LFS. He came with some zoas, and a feather worm. My concern is that the zoas open really slow, like they take a couple of hours to open after the lights come on. Also I am curious if anyone would be able to help me identify if I have zoa pox or not. I appreciate any help guys! Happy reefing.

I zoomed in and there's a few white blotches that look like they could be zoa pox, I don't have a lot of experience with clams but I can imagine the quick motions of a clam opening and closing probably stressing the zoas out, as cool as it is I would probably try to get the zoas off there and attach them to a frag plug. Zoa pox can be battled but some of the strategies may harm the clam. Sorry couldn't be more help

i dont see any signs of pox,,thats a good thing,,were they open when they were at LFS ?? put them in area of more flow
