Everything looks white and im assuming this is a new(er) tank?
Assure your parameter have not changed. For zoa:
Moderate light and water flow
salinity 1.024-1.025
ph 8.1-8.3
temperture 77-79

Check also for little bugs on or under the plug and any other crawlers.

The tank has been set up for around 4-5 months. The parameters are: calcium:380
Alkalinity is 9.0, ph is 8.1. ammonia nitrate and nitrite all read 0 And the salinity is 1.023

when did you add them? Newer additions?
I added them 2 months ago and I’ve only added a clownfish and a flame angel... now I know flame angels pick at some corals but mine doesn’t at all and this problem was occurring before I added him to the tank

What lights are you running and have you moved them recently? Tank is a bit young and it may be worth checking for little critters as mentioned above. I’ve dipped many a coral that seemed angry for no reason. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it does nothing.

I’m running a coralife t5 2 bulb setup with a Actinic light and a color max bulb as well

Look in the center of the polyp. Its possible you have zoa eating spider. They climb inside the zoa , polyp closes around it and they eat it from the inside . Most of the time you can see a leg sticking out of the center. Either way, ALWAYS dip zoas, ALWAYS. They have sooo many pests that love to snack on/harass them that your asking for trouble not dipping

I dipped them and it’s been all this time and the zoas don’t look any better. I will show pictures tomorrow

Zoas dont like 0 nitrate and phos.

0 nitrate 0 phosphate. And 1.023 salinity. Raise salinity to 1.026, feed the tank more stop skimming so much if you are. Get the nitrates up..

The lighting might also be too high where those zoanthids are. Ive seen zoanthids do this before and they recovered it just took a veey long time. Keep them off the rocks away from the amlhipods and critters in the rock as they will eat zoanthids that look like this.

Generally when i see zoanthids mushroom upside down like that its due too the lightining and water params
