I have a small colony of zoas that are opening way too much, they don't look like the ones other people have where there small tenticle go upward, mine are stretched out to the sides. is that normal?

When I had bad lighting they used to be stretched out trying to get more light but after I changed my bulbs they were no longer stretched out but just wide open with there tenticle almost facing downward. Could it be that there hungry or is lighting the only issue?

I've noticed from the same colonies in my tank that the ones under an overhang tend to be more stretched out then the ones in direct light, like twice the size.

Mine were also multiplying apart from each other, not so bunched. They had a distance of couple centimeters apart
