Zoanthid toxicity in Quebec

Could this have been avoided with more knowledge about handling Zoanthids?
Or is this just a fluke?

Fluke IMO. Peanuts, shellfish etc... When it really comes down to it it's all about the odds and I think the majority of us can weather it. (sometimes it happens though)
