Hey zoas heads. I am having a problem with my zoas and palys killing each other. I am wondering how the experts handle this problem. What's the best way to handle this?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So you're having them move into the colonies and taking over?

Yeah, some zoa/paly will choke out others. I have used manual removal before to get the invaders off the other colonies. I try to keep mine far enough apart so this won't happen.

The tank is only a 14g biocube. There is not much room to spread corals out. What is the best way to remove the invading zoas from the rock. Do u remove the rock with the zoas on it or do u remove the zoas in the tank? Trying not to disturb the other corals, and the scape too much.

I left them in there and either scraped them off the rock or plucked them off with tweezers. If you are careful about it, they can survive and glued to another rock.
