zoanthids closed up out of sudden

Hi, i got a zoanthids a week ago , it opened up perfectly on the second day. But unfortunately they close up two days ago and never open back again. I've got 6 frags of Zoanthids which is doing fine. Is it normal for a zoanthids to close up very suddenly ??

check for pests (nudis)
wait a week, if they don't open try moving them to a new location in your tank.
could be parameter differences between where you got them from and your tank.
I get zoas from someone that runs near zero nitrates & phosphates while I run my tank at high nitrates and phosphates.
I can bring 5 frags from him and 4 will open and stay open and 1 will not for weeks.
don't give up on them. I just moved a frag that had been closed for more than a month and they have now reopened.

Hi thanks for the reply. Yea you are right, i found some bugs on my zoa. Any suggestion to get rid of this pests ?

can you remove the frag from the tank?

if you can look at your tank at night or in the morning before lights go on see whats on them you can dip them

I can remove it out but i dont really have another quarantine tank.

BRS HAS A LOT OF GOOD ONES for zoas i just use RODI water people think I am nut but a friend that has a 20 year old tank told me to do it a it work for me zoas a though and pest don't like fresh water make sure you don't have any Little white or brown star fish in the tank you can only see the in the morning before light comes out because I have see them i 3 different tanks a they like zoas
