I have had a colony of nuclear dragon eyes for over 3 years and they had little scallops on them which was able to break off and create new colonies. One of them has recently gained my attention because of the size!! One of the polyps is almost the size of a dime and the rest arent far behind. I do have them at all levels of light and flow and these guys are getting massive! I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen or has further knowledge as to why these guys are morphing into "palyzoas" lol not sure if thats a real term but I think it suits them. Sorry no pictures. Dont have a fancy camera with a macro lens haha just a note 2

Sometimes when they are lower in light they get large or even under 20k.

They can vary in size from light and flow, if they look like they are stretching then they are telling you they need more light or flow. If they look normal but huge then you are lucky and have big zoas, sometimes when I get zoas from online they show up huge and then shrink in my tank...so I know different conditions can yield different size zoas.

I think they get bigger under halides. Mine are not stretched and get very big. Or maybe its certain tanks.
