I just purchased this Zoanthid and it’s listed as a “Vamper”, but I don’t see any other Zoa’s online like it. So it could just be a morph but I figured I would ask. Either way I love the colors. Just figured I would ask the more experienced masses.

those are not eyegasms, eyegasms are a rare high end zoa. Those are a wild chop shop prob Vietnam zoas they just put name on to sell. Still nice though

Just because Brandon names and sells something for a premium that doesn't make it a 'rare high end zoa'. Fact is I've been seeing eyegasmas pop up in my area 2-3p for $40. Its not like they only come from a 2'x2' section of ocean.

So, @The Camaro Show, if the OP wants to call them a morph then fine. But unless you have a better ID I stand behind mine.

Thanks so much all. Yeah I looked online for an hour or so last night and eyegasam seemed like the closest I could find. I assume it’s just a morph. I love the color so it really does not matter. Thanks for the assist all. You all are the best

you can't say its something that you didn't buy it as. So now they are called vampers The shop obviously just cut some zoas up based on how white that plug is. 20 bucks a polyp for some people still consider that higher end and less common, then your dragon eyes and rastas. Sure in my collection I consider stuff $50 a polyp high end and stuff $150 a polyp super high end.

No one is calling them eyegasms, it's just a point of reference and it's moot anyways, OP got the answer they were looking for.

Eyegasms , yours even have the third color zoax , for what its worth , every single zoa ever cam in from some rock , nobody dove and cherry picked these things , its luck of the shipment once stateside , and how they color up in our systems. I have pics of alot of these named corals from over 15 years ago and further. Some people started "boutique" naming and well here we are , 15 diff names and prices for the same polyp, its all good. But just mac people think they have a better machine cause they paid more for it , even though the hardware is half as good as something half the price. Its all persepctive. But if you listed those as Eyegasms , nobody would know the diff.
