Zoanthids look great.. not growing

Howdy,

My zoanthids are fully open - and fat. They are not growing up into water column and that's probably due to too high of par or too much flow but that's not my concern. They seem to have hated splitting and multiplying!

I am planning to frag them but since they grow so close to plug it makes me nervous to cut them.

Any advise ?

I cut mine with scissors off my scape and off of glued down plugs and then super glue them to a new plug.
no problem.

There just isn't away to get a scissor under them with how close to the plug they grow
