So I was browsing and came across this link. It has great information and pics on many types of corals. The writer mentions Zoanthids - Makassar as the Soprano or Darth Maul type speckled palys. I have never seen this term used before.

Are you guys familiar with this? Do these come in on shipments as these?

Just curious, thanks.

maybe they call them that because thats the part of the indos they are found in there is a place called makassar, indonesia

I've gotten Makassar Palys before. Chalices too. Pretty nice too. Not DM or Soprano types, but nice. It's an area of the Indos where some stuff is collected, as said before.

Pretty nice stuff, be nice to get some things. I can't imagine it is very cheap without involving a LFS.

Man, those are some sick blastos, er acans, er chalices....wow. I actually have perused his blog before, but this update it crazy! There is so much eye candy on that page it's overwhelming! Oh, to be him, seeing what he sees...

Some nice stuff there, I think I recognized the new ORA LE Gonipora in there though - can't understand how some of em escaped the captive breeding program to be snagged up by this guy out there in the ocean. You suppose some of them escaped the 10 year captive breeding program ?
