Much to learn my friend. 12 years of collecting... Switching tanks... Moving here and there... Good transactions... Bad ones... Tank crashes...

Buy three of the same geno picking one of the morphs and discarding the others. Alot of melting and plenty of loss.

Those mandarins took me years to grow. Other people can grow them in a month. My strawberry wines grow like grass where as they melt immediately in another.

Trial and error. I didn't just grab these at an lfs and decide to grow them out.

Im fimilar with morphs i had some gold mauls, but they werent that bright so i think i gave them to someone... Id be scared to spend that much money on a coral that could melt away easily. btw what lights are you using for these guys? i had a fluvals t5, and tried a bunch of different bulb patterns, but i never found one that seemed to like zoas. Now im using a kessil, and its really seemed to help. Ill try to find the link on this cool article about helping zoa growth. I heard that rather than playing canned music, personally singing to your corals makes them grow much faster. Sort of like a mother speaking to her baby while still in the womb. You should try it out.
