Zoanthids placement

Do zoanthids take over a tank like Xenia or gsp? Should I isolate them on a rock? I was thinking about zoas like eagle eyes, or age bam bams, fire and ice, stuff like that.

Some zoas grow very fast. But most are pretty slow and do not spread all over the tank and propagate themselves like xenia does. I recommend buying zoas that you really like and wouldnt mind taking over a section of your tank. They're much prettier than Xenia in my opinion

General rule of thumb is the more expensive the zoa, the slower the growth.

Most zoas can be easily chipped off the rock if you notice growth in places you don’t want.
