Can someone explain the difference to me?? I have seen pics of the spiders that look an awful lot like swimming anemones...i had some swimmers a while back and thats what it was IDed at...so now that i see these i am getting confused which is which....any help please?

I personally don't think if you saw a zoa eating spider you would get them confused. Just think of a spider that is in your house. But now it's in your tank living and eating your zoas. They are almost identicle to a typical spider, and if you don't like spiders as I don't then you will get the heebe jeebies as soon as you see them for the first time..... They move really, really slow almost like they are really cold and have a hard time moving. They move that sloe as not to disrupt the polyp while they are open.....
My best buddy used to live down in Indy......He passed away last year so I don't get down there now......Definanly a cool town....
:welcome:

thanks for the help...hate spiders as well,lol....sorry to hear about your friend...we just moved down 6 or so months ago...pretty nice so far.

so when the spiders move they actually crawl?? they dont do a swimming motion do they?? the swimming anemones i had to jelly fish type swimming with their tenticles...and someone recently labeled them as spiders, which i have never seen these guys touch zoos

Yea the spider crawl just like normal spider. I donot think the have the ability to swim as far as I have ever seen.....
