Zoas and clove polyps help

My zoas are stretching out weirdly and my cloves are looking glossy is this normal or should I be worried

Possible nitrate issue... Hard to tell from the picture.

What are your parameters:
Calcium
Alkalinity
Magnesium
Phosphates
Ect...

Yea my nitrates were about 40 since my fish died
So that could be the issue?
Everything else was fine but alkalinity was a little low
