We have a 180gal 6’ x 2’
Our lights are Kessil a360WE we have 3 of them.

We got our first batch of zoas from the sweet 16 auction. They’re all in the sand bed still and doing great (except for The Bloomers, only 3 of the polyps have opened out of the 5) the Fruit Loops are doing fabulous aNd already have several new polyps. Question....do I have to keep them all that far from the light? Or can I put some of them on the rocks? It’s about 30” from the lights to the sand bed.

I got two frags of Rastas this week that I’d like to have on the rock work but not if they don’t like that much light?? How about Palys? I have a few of those coming next week? The top of my rock work is probably about 15” from the lights. Would that be okay for those?

Right now our lights are about 90% all blue, 10% white and 60% intensity on for 9 hours (working up to 10)

Any recommendations?

You can put the zoas pretty much anywhere. Just make sure the zoa polyps aren’t closing to shield themselves from too much light.
