Ok. It has been a while since I have posted (a good thing because my tank has been doing really good). Anyways, I got a reefkeeper 2 for a good deal and decided to get some dosing pumps to make my life a little easier (I had been slacking keeping up with the 2 part). So now I got my tank on track alk is 9 and cal 400. So first is the good news: My sps is doing phenominal! I can literally see new growth daily! My zoas on the other hand look like pure crap. My chong bongs have a brown fungus on them and are slowly melting away. My purple deaths and nuclear greens are both really bleached looking. The skirts on my devils armor and lord of the rings are almost white and my nightmares haven't opened for a few days and I fear I may lose them. What am I doing wrong and what can I do differently?

Did you change anything with your lighting?
Or, alter anything that would have changed your water clarity suddenly?

Some of my zoas started bleaching in my frag tank because I lowered the light about 4 inches it was only certain ones like purple deaths, nuclear greens, and a couple other they turned pure white lol. I have noticed some zoas are 100x harder to keep happy than most SPS.

Do you have a picture of the brown fungus? I have something on similar to this on a few of my colonies, but I'd say it is more black than brown. It seems to be going away on its own, but not after losing some polyps. I'm pretty sure this was due to my RK2 not shutting off my dosing pumps and Alk getting too high. Have you had any changes in your alk?
