My Zoas have just started to curl up. I bought them as a couple of ‘heads’ and they have steadily grown to 15 - then ‘out of the blue’ this has happened.
I dipped them (in Revive) and the only things that showed themselves were some Amphipods. I believe these can damage the zoa - is that true and is that why they are curling up?
I assume you can’t get rid of amphipods altogether so should I just accept the worse and remove the Zoas as they appear to be showing no signs of going back to their former glory. All other corals (elegance, Acan’s, Fox etc are all looking good).
I didn’t dip for long (3 mins) - the bottle says up to 15, so should I dip again and for longer?
The Zoas are on their own island and there are places for these critters to hide.
