Zoas curling

I'm curious why some polyps like this seduction curl this way? The front polyp is fine. I also
have a Agave frag that is doing the same thing. I have moved both of these frags around and changed there lighting condition.

I've got one small zoa polyp doing the same thing. Not sure why though, and it still seems happy because its growing another polyp.
