Zoas dead when bought from store (possible disease?)

Hey I was trying to find out whether these dead polyps look like it was caused from trauma or looked more like a disease.

Also found a feather duster!!

The polyps on the left most side are super dark purple, even black and falling off the rock. The picture doesn't show it very well.

They don't look dead.

I guess I'll have to take a second look...but they were flapping in the water and half disintegrated.
