So I bought a colony of Zoanthids from live aquaria. I dipped them in lugols (15 min with 40 drops in a one gallon bucket as I do with all new arrivals) I put them in my tank after a rinse with fresh nutri-seawater. They were doing fine for the first 3-4 days then they just started melting away and they have this brown slime on them which looks to have spread to the neighboring colony. Not sure what to do here, should I leave it and wait and see? Cut away the dead stuff and hope for the best? Remove it and others effected? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm no veteran. My water parameters are all stable ph 8.2, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate >5, kh 9, calcium 440, phosphates 0. Everything else in my tank including other zoas are thriving, I just don't want this to spread or know if it will or not. I just did a 20% water change today, not sure if that will help or hinder the problem. Thanks in advance!
