RIP. I love zoas, but man are they frustratingly finicky. Even one loss can make it discouraging to keep them.

I bought a 18" colony of steel blues with 1000's of heads. They all melted followed by the rest of my collection.
I think it was deffo connected but don't know how

African Blue steels are notorious melters and almost impossible to keep in captivity.

As for the rest of your collection that melted...I would seriously recommend nailing down your husbandry and quarantine methods before stockpiling any more colonies.
