Zoas Lost their colors

Well I have added a lot of my zoas to my mushroom tank and they have all started losing their vibrance. My blondies are losing the yellow on the inside and the rastas are losing that explosive color. Is this a sign of too much light or not enough light? Thanks for the help guys.

how long has it been on the new additions. Any change in the nutrient levels?
And what light do you have?
Any browning?

Its been almost 3 months since I moved them to the new tank. Everything looks absolutely stunning like my Favias, Acans , and especially my Mushrooms. This tank I do feed a lot more due to the corals, I feed Reef Roids twice a week and Fauna Marin pellets to my Bounce shrooms and Acans, but I do weekly water changes of about 35-40%. The lighting is Ai Nano Blue at about 4% white, 20% royal, 25% deep blue.

are they getting direct light? shrinking at all?
any more shaded area you can move to?
This has helped my zoa/paly in past (shaded or less direct light)

Yea they are getting pretty direct light cause the light sits right above them and the tank has little water flow for the shrooms and the Angler fish. I can drop the blue percentage down a little and see how that works.

Hmmm. I am a lux meter or par guy, sorry. so percentages dont help
but if its been 3 mos and no browning it may not be light.

I have, playing on a hunch, been using Vitamarin C , in the tank lately. Although I wouldn't say brighter more vivid etc, there is definitely healthier better zoas. weather its the acids or carbon I dont know. 5 mil twice a week in a 55g w 75 total water vol.

I do not get browning with mine in direct light I get transparency and lose of color. Not saying this is or is not your issue but I have dealt with this multiple times in my tank and soon as I move them to shaded area bingo colors come back.

Shoot I have some gonzoos right now that lightened in color and recently moved them waiting for color to come back

"losing their vibrance" my new tank is about 4-5 months old and my blonde went thru very similar issue until about a month ago..... I think the reason due to the water maturity and maybe too much light. In the new tank i switched to an ATI fixture and the sps even turned pale. I moved the Blondie to the lower area and lower the ati output and they are bouncing back nicely now. My Latin lover colonies are however have been up there hi but they don't seem to lose their color much. I HOWEVER, do recognize their yellow color was kind of going away a bit too...

Im gonna drop intensity just a bit and try to get a little more surface agitation and see if that helps indirect the light a bit. plus ill get some pics to help everyone see what im talking about.
