Anyone could lead me to the right answer please?

Google gives me different answers.

Are zoas/palys an anemone or a coral? :squigglemouth:

Thanks in advance!

They are definately not an anemonee.. only similar with the mouth and tentacles. But zoa colonies have individual polyps attached to each other and react as a group with stimuli. They cannot move either. Anemonees are autonomous and even in a group can act on their own. Plus.. he they want to go sit on your prize zoanthid... they can walk over there.

Corals

Awesome way to destroy his spirit while being informational

My spirit destroyed? *** are you talking about?? I have read many informations about zoas.

My question is legit and really confusing as from advanceaquarist.com , zoanthids are an iinverts, "Zoanthids form clusters of polyps and encrusting mats commonly referred to as "sea mat," "false coral," or "colonial anemones," and they are sometimes erroneously called "soft corals." ".

they are cnidarians, and so are anemones, and they call zoas "colonizing anemone", but while theyre cousins, there are some very distinct differences.
