Zoas not opening all the way

I have a 13.5 gallon fluval evo. About 3 weeks ago I got some zoas such as Sonic Flares, Pink Zippers, JF Mohican sun, Sour apples and pinwheels some pretty nice corals for a beginner. I was doing a water change last week and i was siphoning my sand bed for the first time and when i pulled my tube out of the water it made a mess! Sand got everywhere but worst of all it was right next to my sour apples and pinwheels. I blew the sand off of them and the sour apple still didn't open for a couple days so I moved him up in the tank a little bit to see if it just wanted more light. His polyps are opening but not the extent the should be. Any suggestions on what i should do or is it just the waiting game. Then if it is the waiting game how long should i wait before doing something different?

I would give it a week or so and if its still not fully back to normal look into it again
