Zoas not opening

My zoas for some reason are not opening up but they keep on growing any body know what this could be causing or how do I get them to open up?

Same thing happened with my zoas about a week ago. now they're open but i think it was a nitrate spike

What’s salinity, nitrate and phosphate running?
Have they been open before and if so, how long?

Three pillars of healthy zoas

Low to medium Light
Low to medium Flow
Good water parameters (with higher than normal NO3 10-20ppm)

nutrients for sure, once in a while i dose iodide, they seem to love that as well
