Hi everyone , so the last few months i believed my zoas was damaged by the new led , 2 months in it did not get beter . So i started keeping a close eye , and the i find the pest star fish that never chewed the zoas started destroying them . Now that all is gone more zoas are being damaged still , i did found a reef safe snail, a few of them on zoas lights out , could it be ?

They are reef safe , but thats the only thing i had seen on them. Seems as if the tissue is being damaged

I tend to notice that where there's one Asterina, there are more.

I agree , but last few days none noticed. It seems the lower part of the zoas are being damaged somehow

Could it really be this reef safe snail ?

Probably not. It's a colonista.

Do look for asterinas. Some do eat zoas.

The snails will bloom in population for a time then die back as they finish cleaning.
I rarely see them now.

Thanks for the replies . So an update , i talked to @Cherim7 about this and she said i should try to spot feed them . Appears to be doing much beter the last 2 days . Will post pics later when lights go on
