Hi everyone, I have 4 zoa frags in my tank. three of the look normal ish however one of them has been slowly shrinking in terms of polyp size of the zoas for a couple months.

I am including pictures below. My rainbow incinerators always had small polyps but isnt growing much. I have CB rainbow infusions which are on a different ledge and are fineMy utter chaos wont stop growing and is doing well with large polyps, and my rastas are the ones struggling.

I was having a cyano issue which actually went away once I started feeding MORE, possibly due to a nitrate phosphate imbalance. I think my chaeto has picked up since then as well, so now im trying to home in on whats causing issues with these zoas.

The tank also has a few pieces of SPS which are thriving and growing like crazy.

Does anyone know what polyp size like this could be indicative of? low light? high light? low nutrients?

In the past I’ve had zoanthid individual polyp size shrink and color intensify under high light situations..

Did you dip before adding? If polyps are disappearing it could be a pest.
