Has anything changed lately or just age and stability? Mine seem to be getting longer tentacles and I haven't really changed anything except keeping nutrients in the water consistently for 3 months or so.

Not a lot... Really.. I have changed the flow some so they may be helping.. I lost power down here in Texas for 5 days during the February winter storm. Was only able to keep some pumps running with the how temp down to 44 and the tank really struggled to keep temp up. So maybe the tank is starting to recover after 3 months and helping the zoas. I do run Reef Moonshine process so that helps for sure.

I'm glad the tank didn't crash on you. I always thought long lashes were related to higher flow but now I am not sure. Do you run aggressive filtration?

You Nailed it . Long lashes on zoas are the result of consistent nutrient levels over a long period of time. Has nothing to do with flow or lighting.
