Hello all,

So I got my first zoas for free about a month ago. I took them off the frag plug, and put them on a small piece of rock rubble.

I'm thinking now that I glued them on too close. ETA: when I look at them, I feel the larger one opening is causing the smaller one to not open up as much. It's not so obvious in this pic because the smaller one is swallowing the blackworm. Is that the case, or are they fine as it is?

Do you think I should use a razor to take off one, and glue it a little further away?

ETA: pictures for some reason won't attach. Bottom line: they are about half an inch (1cm) away from each other. I placed them this way; they did not naturally come this way.

I don't get what's going on with the attachment. Very strange, it won't let me post this to the OP (I tried many times), nor delete the duplicates here.

Anyway, the one of the left is eating a blackworm. Courtesy of @Paul B . they are almost directly under a Kessil 360, and I try to spot feed them every few days (since my fish are water column plankton eaters, they often catch food floating in the water column)

I dont think them being so close is an issue. They appear to both be the same type of paly. If you like palys alot I would recommend buying some of the other cool ones like palythoa grandis.

Them being that close should not be a issue, give them some time to adapt.
