I don't know never hot glued a coral but if you hot glued him you might have there "skin" is thin

There is no need to feed your zoas. Good water quality, oxygen, and good lighting will trump everything else.

You should probably look around the web for some info about corals requirements ect before you go buy anything else, will save you time and money.
