I bought 2 polyps of rastas about 6 months ago and they took about a month to open. What I did was placed them on the bottom of the tank and just was patient with them.

Hope they are not melting.

What is your salinity? If it's too high they will melt

Your phosphate could easily be the reason. Anything higher than .08 can create problem. Also, you have not mentioned alkalinity.
