Hi all,

I have had a plate of zoas in my tank for @ 2 months. I recently noticed 3 rather different corals/aliens with tentacles protruding from the zoas. Would anyone have any idea what these might be?

Thanks,

Brian

Aiptasia, definitely a pest. They can be killed by injecting kalk paste or AiptasiaX into their mouths (it's important that they swallow it) or some people use boiled water. Also, some fish and inverts eat them, like the Copperband Butterfly, Heni Butterfly, peppermint shrimp (one particular species only), and Berghia Nudibranch.

Great-thanks!
