Anybody buy from them? Looks like a huge selection.

I made 1 purchase despite what I had read.... but that was a year ago at least... and it was a good transaction.... the biggest reason I tryed them was they had a buy by the polyp deal... and I bought 1 polyp of some and received at least three to four...I know they had some problems in the past...I did use a credit card for the purchase so I figured I could dispute the purchase if it went bad

The guy is the owner of a LFS here (in St Louis, gateway aquatics) and runs zomania out of the back of his store. Nick was involved for a while I think helping him to get things going, but I believe that Nick has now gone back to Germany. I will leave it at this...he is local to me and rarely do I purchase anything from him, nor do I frequent his store.

hrm.... I have seen a few pieces on the site that I really like...

Aeon Flux paly for example...

Have a friend here who bought some things from Gateway Aquatics. Let's just say that she was not very happy at all and will not buy from again.

Chad at Gateway Aquatics is pretty cool. He is mainly an E-bay seller that does traffic there. He has excellent products in his store. He bought the zomania guy out and kept the name for sales strength.
Gateway has alot of frags and specials too. Before you buy ask if there is any current deals this month. Ask for an email of their newsletter.
There are other shops in town that sell colonies instead of frags but don't sell Internet. Colonies are usually more bang for the buck.
HTH, Rich

I bought from them a few months ago, I didn't recieve the the stuff I ordered
(bam-bams) then I ordered a frag pack that was suppossed to be 5 different polyps, I recieved 4 the same(all brown) and 1 green.
When I called, they insisted that, they NEVER send the same stuff!!!
Needless to say I wont be placing any other orders.

This place is the new LFS in town and I believe these guys are striving to be above the usual par! The have a "cafe style" store where you get a cup of free coffee and hang out while deciding on your next purchase. Everyone is cool and the plasma screen TV's are cool too. I will be dropping by here often. It is where I picked up alot of my stuff at.

The place is brand new so I can only imagine how nice it will be in say 3-4 months.

jees... I have LFS envy! I wish more places around here were half as nice as that place... They are trying, my fav lfs is expanding its coral selection a lot very soon, but the crap mi economy is killing them I think.

Two of the other shops (that are only saltwater fish stuff) have just started "new summer hours" - more like "Never Open when you want to come"! Oh well, at least one LFS is pretty cool....
