Zoo polyp fell off will it grow?

A polyp fell off of my zooanthid. Will it grow if I place it somewhere? How do I get it to stay?

You can glue it to any rock or piece of plastic per superglue gel found in any hardware store

If you leave it in a crevice will it attach itself

Yes, it will attach itself, but there is a high risk of it getting bump or blown away and lost.

How Long does it usually take if I let it on it's own

it was also sitting on the sand a few days and hasnt opened does this mean it has died

Nope, it's not dying just not comfortable to open up...it will disappear if it die

Yes thats true it will disapear if its dead but it takes about 2 weeks to disapear.

its just ****** off put it at the same level of the tank as its mother colony in a little crevice and hope for the best
