have probably spent more time looking at the rock for different little things then the fish! Do have 3 mushrooms that were in the rock.By the way rock and skimmers are my favorite part of this hobby.
I think mature rock in a tank is beautiful, especially real ocean rock.
If it didn't need an ammonia source like fish I think I'd have a rock tank myself.
Hey, don't have to feed it either, right?
I'm Joel by the way.good morning! someday i will have beatiful coral to post a pic of instead of rock and hiding fish. Until then, last nights visitor who muddied up my back door trying to get in.

North Idaho for me, 60 miles from Canada.Northern Wi. Middle of nowhere a bit north of weyerhauser.

Oh I thought that's where I was !I’m sick of hearing all you old people complain about your health! There should be an old people thread!
We have black bears, coyotes, foxes and tons of deer. When I let my dogs out to run around in our yard all they do is eat deer poop. It's so annoying.North Idaho for me, 60 miles from Canada.
Lots of moose, bears and mountain lions.
And deer poop all over everything.![]()

Back in the mid 90’s when we had great live rock, cheap, I could spend an hour with a flashlight after lights went watching everything that came out of the rock at night. Back then we didn’t have frag plugs and every coral came on a piece of small live rock bringing new life to the tank.have probably spent more time looking at the rock for different little things then the fish! Do have 3 mushrooms that were in the rock.
