Technically we haven’t met but that is going to change with March Madness when you jump in your boat and row from Idaho to Ohio. I can’t wait to get the whole gang together and no one is leaving without birdnest frags! Have I mentioned that I’m giving away free birdnest frags?

It was a good day I love going to Georgia to go hunting but I'm also glad to be home. I miss my comfy chair, my dogs that are not hunting dogs, and my aquariums when we are there.

I have used API Master tests kits for years for my freshwater aquariums and have never had a problem with them. It seems like the saltwater community seems to prefer other brands like Salifert for example. Can someone explain to me in simple terms why the others seem to be preferred?

My understanding is it’s not very accurate, at least in saltwater. I’ve never used it but your right it seems to be loathed on this forum enough that I would avoid it. I use Salifert.

Reliability and ease of reading. Freshwater ranges are larger acceptable ranges for a lot of things we test for, Saltwater ranges are tighter and usually a lot lower concentrations.
