He is not in the tank with the flux but I want to move him into there this weekend. I can put him in the acclimation box in the tank with the flux.

I guess I’m the salmon swimming upstream but I used Reef Flux for bryopsis ( did a great job) with no ill effects on fish, corals or inverts. I don’t think is any harm in adding the clown while flux is in the tank and you are using it as directed and correctly. Remember my advice is coming from someone who went to public schools.
