I plan to get another pair of clowns for this tank with a bunch of anemones. I just really hope I don’t have an anemone go into that filtration again. What’s the best way to prevent that from happening?

It went into the pump of the hang on the back filter. I also have a wave maker and would like to make it a bit more safe for the nems.

Marineland makes black sponges especially for the intake tubes for hob filters.
I have them on a all my freshwater tanks.
They sell nem guards for wavemakers too.

I got 2 cheap small fishnets and cut the wire handle, then threaded a zip tie through the mesh around my powerhead.
