00W's AIO Smorgasbord

Probably a good time to clean this too.

Just cleaned this a day ago.
I have 2 neck extensions on this as well.
I bought this on eBay a while ago for about half of new.
Best thing I ever bought.
Love a good ebay deal!

Yes well said.
However had some real doozies also.
The seller was the key here.
Local forums, R2R much better avenues IMHO but I had been searching for almost a year for this.

I filled the reactors with gfo and carbon from premium aquatics.
I have tried many, many, many products over the years but these are by far my favorites.
Gfo likes a slow tumble at the top, sort of like boiling water. You can use your dc pump to adjust that flow.
It's heavy and does no good if not tumbling. Just becomes a rock.
Carbon is in the second chamber and doesn't matter flow so much.
I tried a Rox carbon last week but like the bulk carbon better.

No promo add here but shout out to @premiumaquatics for great prices, tremendous service quick turnaround, free shipping and no BS.
Agreed!

OK that's it.
Today's postings are I spired by @Katrina71 who's insight into a few things was spot on. :) :star-struck:
Thanks for everyone's patience have a great day and rock on.
I'm going to post some tests later.
I changed 20 gallons today which is a lot for me but very much needed.
Your post was kind, but you really meant today's cleaning was inspired by my dirty glass;)

I was right about something???? I'm buying a lottery ticket!
And yes more than right.
I'm going to post pics of algae scrubber screen.
Looks EXACTLY like my Blair witch project.

Same flow too.

Yes was cleaning to provide better picture of Angus. ;)

I'm fine. Glad you enjoyed your tank time today! I think your educational snips are great btw. We may not all reef the same way, but it never hurts to learn how others do it.
That's very kind.
Learning from each other only makes us better reefers.

A flask will do
You and I’ve done well. The reefer on the other thread is having trouble finding a tail spot blenny now that we made it the most popular and sought after fish in the hobby. I recently have seen they are now priced higher than tangs. You should get all the credit as I wouldn’t even have one if wasn’t for you bullying and intimidating me into getting one.

Right now there are fish collectors on reefs all around the world scratching their heads because their bosses have informed them to forget about all other fish and just collect tail spot blennys.
