My Tank Thread
My Aquarium Showcase
I have a lot and have removed it only once.I’ve never had it on a back wall but many people do it and love it. I think the best way to remove it would be to use a razor blade and scrape it but I would shut off all flow so you don’t lose any that will colonize somewhere you don’t want it to be. Maybe someone will chime in that has done it before.
Razor blade scrape and gentle pull will usually take care of it.
When it overgrew the little tank I had a rock chunk like you, growing on the glass, sand everywhere.
I just sort of pulled it apart. It grows in purple sheets.
